Spain is due to the top of FIFA classification and Germany comes out of the top ten

Spain, winner of the 2024 European Championship, went up to the top rankings of the International Football Association (FIFA) issued on Thursday for the first time in 11 years, while Germany came out of the first ten.

France advanced to second place in the classification, as Argentina, holding the World Cup title, retreated to third after losing 1-0 from Ecuador in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Portugal, winner of the European Nations League, climbed one position, to occupy the fifth place.

Germany fell outside the top ten for the first time in almost a year, after its defeat in Slovakia earlier this month.

Slovakia was the most advanced team in the classification, after it advanced 10 places to occupy 42.

3- Argentina

4- England

5- Portugal

6- Brazil

7- The Netherlands

8- Belgium

9- Croatia

10- Italy
