Salam meets political and international delegations … to enhance peace and reform

The Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, received this morning at the government companies, official and local delegations, as the first meeting with the President of the International Council for Tolerance and Peace Ahmed bin Muhammad Al -Jarwan was. Al -Jarwan considered that Lebanon is a model of peace -loving state, noting the importance of supporting the country’s vision in spreading the values of tolerance, love and peace, and emphasizing the council’s desire to partnership with the Lebanese elites and the Lebanese people to enhance these values.
President Salam also received China Chen Chundong, in the presence of the President of the Council of Development and Reconstruction, Muhammad Ali Qabbani, and ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries were discussed, in addition to Chinese projects supporting the Lebanese economy, while emphasizing the continuation of China to support Lebanon’s sovereignty, security and stability. In another meeting, the delegation of “We are all will” headed by Wafaa Saab, who expressed its support for the government’s path in extending the state’s authority and implementing an arms inventory plan, With the emphasis on the need to proceed with reforms and activate the work of official institutions, in addition to ensuring the rights of expatriates in the parliamentary elections. President Salam also met the delegation of the “national balance meeting”, stressing his absolute support for the government’s decisions and the importance of their implementation to ensure the continuation of the march of reform, economic advancement and reconstruction. In the framework of his local follow -up, a delegation from the town of Al -Qamamin – Al -Dinniyeh headed by the head of the “Development of the town” received Abdul Qadir Issa, where the most prominent demands related to mobile, fixed and internet services were presented, demanding the Ministry to review the existing projects to improve the infrastructure. The delegation affirmed its support for the government and the leadership of President Salam, with the rejection of campaigns to mislead and skepticism that targeted the prime minister.
