Trump threatens Europe with Russian oil!

US President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he is ready to impose sanctions on Russia, but Europe should act in a manner commensurate with the United States.
He added to reporters: “Europe buys oil from Russia. I do not want them to buy oil.” He continued: “The sanctions they impose are not strict enough, and I am ready to impose sanctions, but they must tighten their sanctions in proportion to what I do.” Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the United States and Europe have tended to impose extensive economic sanctions against Russia, but the energy file remained the most sensitive files. Washington relies on Russian oil and seeks to deprive Moscow of its revenues. Several European countries rely on it in varying degrees, which made it adopt less strict sanctions.
