IndiGo, the largest airline in India, announced the cancellation of all its flights to and from Riyadh until October 9.
In the same context, Air India and Acasa Air confirmed to Reuters the cancellation of all their flights to and from the Saudi capital until October 10. “Air India” explained that one of its flights departing from Delhi towards Riyadh was forced to return to the Indian capital, while “Acasa Air” canceled two flights that were previously scheduled.
In terms of international air traffic, the global flight tracking website “Flight Radar 24” monitored the cancellation of dozens of international flights heading to Riyadh this evening.
In the same context, data issued by the aviation analytics company Cirium showed the cancellation of 49.7 percent of the total flights departing from Riyadh Airport by 15:00 GMT, amid expectations that 31 additional flights will be canceled tomorrow, Friday, through various airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
