Very disturbing numbers .. For this reason, the percentage of crimes in Lebanon increased

There is no day in Lebanon, unless we hear about multiple murders in various regions, confirming that the crime rate has increased frighteningly and disturbing.

The International Information indicated that the murders have increased by 33.3 percent from the beginning of 2025 until today, as the number of crimes until the end of August reached about 140 compared to 105 crimes last year.
As for the reasons for this great height, the numbers indicate that the most prominent of which is unprecedented in an unprecedented way, the absence of deterrent, social problems and the crisis economic situation.
While the security forces are required to tighten arms control, the judiciary is to tighten sanctions against murders, and civil society is helping to reduce social tension, which may contribute to reducing crimes.
