President Joseph Aoun received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron and thanked him for the effort he made and resulted in the compatibility of the extension of the international forces (UNIFIL) until the end of the year 2027.
Macron emphasized that the plan that the army will put to implement an exclusive weapon decision has received wide European and international support and should also be accurate. President Aoun and Macron also discussed the ongoing preparations to hold two international conferences to restore Lebanon’s reconstruction and support the army.
