The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc launched a sharp attack on the framework agreement, considering it “illegitimate, illegal, and in violation of the Constitution and the Charter,” and called on the Lebanese authority to withdraw from it and drop it, stressing that it had caused severe harm to Lebanon’s interests and made it “a hostage in the hands of Israel.”
In a statement issued after its regular meeting, the bloc considered that the agreement faces “cross-sectarian national opposition representing the majority of the Lebanese,” noting that what it described as the “security attaché” revealed dangerous provisions that prompted forces and personalities to declare their rejection of it.
The bloc believed that the Lebanese authority had adopted a “regressive approach” that weakened Lebanon’s position, calling on it to reverse its decisions, considering that the continuing Israeli attacks constitute an additional reason to drop the agreement.
She stressed that the agreement was “imposed by one party and there is no possibility of implementing it,” stressing the adherence of the people of the southern villages to their belonging to Lebanon, and saluting the positions of the municipalities and events that rejected the statements of the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the annexation of southern villages.
The bloc condemned the targeting of Director Esperenza Ghandour in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, considering that the crime confirms Israel’s lack of commitment to any agreement. It also denounced what it described as the silence of the Lebanese authority and its failure to take any position or action regarding the incident.
It also condemned the continuation of bulldozing and bombing operations in southern towns, calling for broad international action to put pressure on Israel and hold those responsible for these violations accountable.
Regarding the Iranian issue, the bloc renewed its pledge of allegiance and loyalty to Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, after the funeral of the late Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, praising Iraq’s official and popular positions during the funeral ceremony, and considering that it expressed rejection of American hegemony in the region.
