The delegation toured the company’s training centers, and was briefed on its various departments, equipment, and advanced technologies, in a visit that would open new horizons for cooperation and benefit from mutual experiences in several fields, and at the same time reflect the belief of both institutions in the importance of steadfastness, continuity, and non-surrender, despite the difficult circumstances that have afflicted and are still afflicting Lebanon.
Tony Michel Issa, CEO of the Issa Group, expressed his pride in the advanced technological level and modernity that characterizes Middle East Airlines, pointing out that both IPT and Middle East Airlines continued to work during periods of war and crises, so steadfastness, continuity, and non-surrender were a common denominator between them.
Issa pointed out that “IPT has worked and is still working to implement many projects aimed at developing and modernizing its activities,” stressing that “this visit carries a message of support and appreciation,” and at the same time constitutes an opportunity to learn and benefit from advanced work methods and modern technologies that the delegation touched upon during its tour of the various departments of Middle East Airlines.
He added: “The visit may constitute the beginning of cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two companies, especially in the fields of marketing, technology, training and public safety.”
He said: “At IPT, we deal with a very sensitive substance, which is fuel, and therefore public safety is one of the basic pillars of our work. At the same time, we are aware of the utmost importance that Middle East Airlines attaches to this field. Hence, we see real opportunities to exchange experiences and benefit from the advanced experiences that the two companies have accumulated.”
