Apple is preparing to launch a new update to iOS 27, which includes a group of important improvements to the AirPods, with the aim of providing a more flexible and accurate audio experience to users.

Recent technical reports revealed that Apple is working on an expanded update for the AirPods via the new operating system, which allows broader control over sound settings, enhancing users’ ability to customize the listening experience according to their personal preferences.

The upcoming update also includes improvements to the Precision Finding feature within the “Find My” application, which will contribute to improving users’ ability to find AirPods more easily and with greater accuracy.

One of the most notable features of the new update is the addition of an audio equalizer (EQ) built into the system settings, which is the first of its kind for AirPods.

This equalizer allows users to adjust the levels of the three main audio frequencies, bass, mids, and treble.

The audio equalizer comes with two main options: a recommended mode that relies on Apple’s default settings, and a custom mode that allows users to manually adjust the sound according to their personal preferences.

Besides improving sound, iOS 27 enhances the accuracy of the AirPods’ location feature, making it easier for users to find lost earbuds faster and more accurately. (Erm News)
