The “Electricité du Liban” Corporation announced in a statement, “In reference to the corporation’s statement dated 6/22/2026, and due to the repeated Israeli attacks, the main 66 kV substation in Nabatieh was out of service on 06/18/2026 as a result of the breakdown of the main 66 KV Zahrani-Nabatieh transmission line in the areas of Kfarjouz, Zefta and Wadi El Kfour.

Accordingly, the Electricité du Liban Corporation reports that, as a result of the continuous efforts and maintenance work carried out by the Corporation’s maintenance teams since this morning, it was able to restore the electrical supply at approximately four o’clock in the afternoon today, 06/23/2026, to the main substation in Nabatieh, which supplies large areas of the Nabatieh district.

The Electricité du Liban is doing everything necessary to complete the remaining repairs on all high-, medium- and low-voltage networks in the South and Nabatieh governorates and the West Bekaa district, within the available capabilities, and will inform the people of any new information in this regard as soon as new data is available.”
