Injuries in the Israeli army and night confrontations with... "Hezbollah"

The Israeli army reported that three of its officers were injured, two of whom were in serious condition, in addition to six other soldiers who were moderately injured. These injuries occurred in two separate incidents during clashes that took place in the southern Lebanon region.

The army explained that these injuries come in the context of a group of field events that the region witnessed during the past few hours.

These events come at a time of escalation in confrontations on the southern front, as the border between Lebanon and Israel witnesses a daily exchange of bombing between Hezbollah and the Israeli army, as part of the open confrontation linked to the broader regional war.

Over the past few weeks, Hezbollah has intensified its operations, targeting military sites and concentrations of Israeli soldiers with missiles and drones. On the other hand, the Israeli army expanded the scope of its air strikes and artillery shelling on southern towns, targeting infrastructure and sites allegedly belonging to the party.

This escalation coincides with Israel’s attempt to impose new facts on the ground in the south, especially in the area surrounding the “Litani River,” amid international warnings that the situation may deteriorate toward a broader confrontation.
