Representative Ihab Hamadeh, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, confirmed that the call for solidarity and national unity under the slogan “Protecting Ourselves” does not stem from fear, but rather from extreme concern for Lebanon with all its people, land, and resources, warning of a plan aimed at seizing the entire region, including its people and wealth.

Hamadeh’s statement came during a political meeting organized by Hezbollah’s public relations in cooperation with the Bazalia Division, and attended by a number of the town’s residents, where he stressed the importance of unifying the national ranks to confront the dangers threatening Lebanon.

In the context of his talk about Resolution 1701, Hamadeh inquired about the parties that claim that the resolution includes all Lebanese territories, asking them to provide conclusive evidence proving this.

He explained that the resolution includes clear provisions related to Israel’s complete withdrawal from Lebanese territory, and the cessation of all attacks, including air attacks, in addition to the issue of prisoners, indicating that some completely ignore what Israel must adhere to.

Regarding the visit of the Lebanese Army Commander to the United States of America, Hamadeh pointed out that one of the topics of the meeting was leaked, stressing that Hezbollah values any position that serves the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese.

He added that the resistance is “legalized by divine laws and national laws,” considering that the principle of defending the homeland is entrenched even in the American Constitution, which obligates American citizens to defend their homeland and their existence.

Hamadeh stressed that the resistance in Lebanon is based on Lebanese custom, constitution, and laws, in addition to the logic of honorable people in the world, stressing that everyone who expresses a position that supports Lebanon and the Lebanese deserves thanks.

He stressed that “there is no talk about North Litani,” and that this term does not exist in the resistance’s map or dictionary in relation to Resolution 1701, indicating that the resistance is stable, strong and capable, and cannot be affected by winds or pressures.

He concluded his speech with a call to demonstrate national unity through a national or defense strategy that guarantees the protection of Lebanon, the Lebanese and their wealth, stressing that any talk outside this context is worthless and will be confronted by all possible means.
