Samsung is preparing to make a qualitative shift in its mid-range phone series, as recent technical leaks indicate that its upcoming phone, “Galaxy A38,” will come with a huge battery with a nominal capacity of 5,882 mAh, which is expected to be commercially marketed with a capacity of 6,000 mAh, thus achieving an increase of about 20% compared to the previous generation, “Galaxy A37.”
According to a report published by the “SamMobile” website, citing the “GalaxyClub” platform, the “Galaxy A38” will be the first mid-range phone in the “Galaxy A” series to have a battery of this capacity, breaking the 5,000 mAh barrier that Samsung has committed to for years in its medium and high-end categories.
Regarding charging capabilities, expectations indicate that the phone will maintain the current wired charging speeds of 45 watts, which is the same speed adopted in the “Galaxy A37” model, amid the absence of indications about the possibility of introducing new improvements to the charging technology.
As for the imaging system, the camera settings will not witness a radical change from the previous generation. The phone is likely to include a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro telephoto camera, in addition to a 12-megapixel front camera for selfies.
It is noteworthy that these specifications remain within the framework of leaks and are unconfirmed, awaiting an official announcement from Samsung that reveals the final details of the phone and the date of its launch in the market.
