Former Lebanese Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, joined the wave of Lebanese positions condemning the armed attack that targeted a church in the Jordanian Karak Governorate, resulting in casualties and injuries.
In a tweet posted on the “X” platform, Hariri considered that “the sinful attack on the Karak Church in Jordan is a terrorist attack on all of God’s mosques and His teachings,” stressing that such attacks do not target places of worship alone, but rather affect the essence of religious teachings and the values of coexistence. At the conclusion of his position, he expressed his complete solidarity with Jordan, its king, government and people.
This solidarity comes in light of the continuing repercussions of the attack that occurred during a funeral ceremony in Karak Governorate, leaving people dead and wounded, amid widespread Lebanese and Arab condemnations that confirm the refusal to target places of worship and worshippers.
