Young German striker Paris Brunner, a professional with Monaco in France, is stealing the spotlight with his remarkable brilliance during the current season, which has strengthened his chances of receiving his first call-up to represent the senior German national team under the leadership of coach Jurgen Klopp.
Broner’s brilliance, who is 20 years old, came after leading his team to achieve a valuable victory over Freiburg, Germany, by three clean goals, on Thursday, in the European Conference League, where he scored a goal that raised his total score to 8 goals scored during the 9 matches he played in various competitions.
In statements to the “RTL” channel, Broner commented on his level, saying: “I am trying to do what I am good at, which is scoring goals,” indicating that the decision to join the national team remains in Klopp’s hands, and that he will devote his efforts to continuing the hard work.
It is noteworthy that Jurgen Klopp has shown clear interest in the young striker, who has previously excelled at the international youth level, as he led the German national team to win the World Cup and the European Under-17 Cup in 2023, winning the Best Player award in both tournaments.
Broner is cautiously awaiting the announcement of the German national team’s roster in preparation for the upcoming confrontations against Serbia and the Netherlands in the European Nations League competitions next November.
