application "Muse" Entering the age of artificial intelligence

The smart assistant “Muse”, developed by the “Meta” company, recorded widespread demand, exceeding the barrier of 10 million downloads in the first weeks of its launch, amid intense competition between technology companies to provide digital assistants capable of carrying out daily tasks and organizing digital work, bypassing the traditional role of answering questions.

Financial and technical reports published during the month of October 2026 showed a discrepancy in download numbers due to different measurement methodologies and the independent bodies that collected the data, as estimates issued on October 16 indicated that the application had exceeded 10.4 million downloads since its launch last September. In the same context, Sensor Tower data reported in a separate report published on October 20, that the application recorded about 10.2 million downloads within the United States alone during its first forty days, while its total downloads globally reached about 10.9 million. Knowing that these numbers remain independent estimates as no official statistics have been issued by Meta, and their evaluation takes into account that the application is currently available in the American and Canadian markets only.

The introduction of “Muse” comes within the framework of a growing trend towards developing “artificial intelligence agents” designed to perform multiple tasks for users. Meta is investing in its network of major platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, to promote its new product and enhance its reach, although this wide spread alone does not guarantee continued use in the long term, according to observers.

In an indicator that reflects the amount of temporary interest in the application, Sensor Tower estimates indicated that the number of daily active users had reached 2.5 million by October 16, recording a growth of 15% compared to the previous week.
