The scholar Fadlallah sends dual messages at home and abroad, stressing readiness in the field and politics

Member of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah, confirmed that Hezbollah’s current priorities focus on liberating the south, securing the return of the people, and rebuilding destroyed villages, stressing that the party does not oppose any political or diplomatic path that leads to Israeli withdrawal, provided that national sovereignty is not compromised.

At a ceremony honoring the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance from the town of Ainata, held at the Imam al-Mujtaba Complex in the Saint-Thérèse region, Fadlallah explained that the shelter program, announced by the Secretary-General of the party, Sheikh Naim Qassem, is continuing to be implemented with the aim of alleviating the repercussions of the displacement crisis. He pointed out that this program represents an extension of efforts initiated by the former Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the details of which were implemented by Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, stressing the continuation of its implementation despite the challenges, difficulties, and the state of siege.

Regarding government matters, Fadlallah pointed out that this step does not relieve the state of its legal and moral responsibilities in compensation for those affected and reconstruction, stressing continued coordination with the government and its president, regardless of the existing political differences.

On the diplomatic level, the representative criticized the positions and statements issued by the US State Department and the US administration on alert against the shelter program, stressing that the party is “not concerned” with these positions and its plans will not be affected by the resulting skepticism.

Regarding the field and political file in the south, Fadlallah renewed the party’s position of expelling the occupation and returning the population to live a life of security and stability. He explained by saying: “If diplomacy can bring us liberation, we do not mind,” provided that it is not based on “concession and submission,” considering that the “Framework Agreement” has become null and void and will not be implemented. He defended the option of “force diplomacy” based on the cohesion of the internal front and the resistance, pointing out the absence of any reasonable political proposal for liberation other than the option of resistance supported by popular steadfastness and regional variables, most notably the “regional equation established by the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Regarding the Iranian role, Fadlallah expressed his full confidence in Tehran, indicating that it confirms in public and in private meetings that it will not abandon Lebanon, and that it will make the Lebanese file a primary item in any anticipated agreement or settlement.

Fadlallah concluded by stressing that the duality of “Hezbollah” and the “Amal Movement” does not close the door to any option that leads to the liberation of the land and the return and reconstruction of the South without giving up sovereignty, stressing by saying: “Just as we are preparing in the field, we are preparing in politics for any option that will lead us to the result.”
