A representative was expelled from the hall… The “Recognize Palestine” sign surprised Trump inside the Knesset! (video)

In a remarkable scene inside the Knesset, two members of the Israeli left boycotted the speech of US President Donald TrumpOn Monday, they raised slogans calling for the recognition of Palestine.

During Trump’s speech, the sound of the Knesset Speaker’s gavel suddenly rang out, before the cameras turned to two members standing in the middle of the hall, one of whom was raising a banner that read: “Recognize Palestine.”

The Jerusalem Post newspaper reported that the banner bore the phrase “condemning genocide,” but MP Ayman Odeh posted a tweet in which he confirmed that the basic message was: “Recognize Palestine.” It was later revealed that the two members were Ayman Odeh and Ofer Kassif from the Israeli Left Party.

The intervention did not last long, as Israeli security personnel moved quickly and expelled the two representatives from the hall amid cheers from the audience.

After calm returned, Trump commented with a smile, saying, “It was effective,” referring to the speed of security’s response, which sparked laughter from the audience, before he continued his speech and returned to praising his advisor, Steve Witkoff.
