Egyptian star Mohamed Salah led his new team, “Trabzonspor,” to achieve a wide victory over its guest, “Galatasaray,” with a clean score, in his first summit match in the Turkish Football League.
Salah recorded a remarkable presence by scoring three “hat-trick” goals and assisting the fourth goal, contributing directly to all of his team’s goals, and stealing the spotlight in one of his most prominent stations in the local competition.
The Egyptian star’s exceptional performance received wide praise, most notably the statements of French football legend Thierry Henry to the Turkish newspaper “Sabah”, where he said: “Imagine scoring your first hat-trick in the Turkish league against one of Turkey’s biggest clubs, Galatasaray… His name and achievements must be respected.”
The former Arsenal striker not only praised Salah’s on-field performance, but also defended him against the backdrop of his previous experience with Liverpool, adding: “It is clear that Mohamed Salah was never the cause of the problem in Liverpool. There may have been some disagreements between the club’s management, but the matter was certainly not related to the King of Egypt.”
