Israeli Channel 12 reported that Hezbollah transferred precision missiles, weapons, and air defense systems to the areas of Jabal Safi, Iqlim al-Tuffah, and Jabal al-Rayhan, as part of a repositioning process that followed its loss of a number of its positions in southern Lebanon.
A report prepared by correspondent Nir Dvori explained that the loss of control over the Ali al-Taher Heights, in addition to the exposure of tunnels and mountain passes, led to undermining the party’s ability to launch attacks against Israeli forces south of the Litani River, based on what he described as “military sources in Lebanon” whose identity or affiliation was not specified.
The Israeli channel claimed that the party evacuated its headquarters and weapons stores and moved its equipment to rear areas, noting that it resorted to distributing part of its arsenal within villages and civilian buildings, in an attempt to create alternative positioning lines.
