The field scene is escalating throughout the south, with the expansion of Israeli attacks, including incursions, bombings, shelling, and weapons sweeps, at a time when the evening hours recorded new field movements on more than one axis.
The Lebanon Debate correspondent reported recording phosphorus and smoke bombardment in the town of Mansouri, coinciding with weapons sweeping operations and the advance of Israeli tanks into the town.
Israeli aircraft also launched two raids on the town of Al-Mansouri, while artillery shelling continued on the town for more than two hours intermittently.
In Kfar Shuba, two Merkava tanks and military vehicles moved from the Al-Samaqa center towards the Shanouh area in the vicinity of the town from the southern side, simultaneously with the firing of heavy machine-gun bursts.
The reporter also reported that there was an explosion in Zawtar al-Sharqiya, and a huge explosion in the town of Mays al-Jabal, in addition to another bombing in the town of Hula.
In parallel, the National News Agency reported that Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of the towns of Ainata and Hadath in the Bint Jbeil district, and artillery shelling also targeted the outskirts of the towns of Baraashit and Ainata.
The agency indicated that an Israeli drone exploded while it was flying over an excavator that was working to remove the rubble of one of the destroyed buildings.
In Doha Kafr Rumman, an Israeli drone threw a sound bomb at an ambulance belonging to the “Al-Resala” Association, while its paramedics were conducting a survey in the area following a previous raid.
This escalation comes as an extension of a field day that witnessed a series of Israeli attacks in the south, which included raids, bombings, artillery shelling, incursions and sweeping operations in a number of towns, in conjunction with booby-trapping and blowing up homes and bulldozing operations in border areas.
