
The Syrian Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources revealed the country’s total production of crude oil during the first half of this year, which amounted to about 14.8 million barrels, with an average daily production of approximately 81.7 thousand barrels.
Official data indicated that the Syrian Petroleum Company contributed to the production of about 2.2 million barrels, while the quantities produced from the fields under the control of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) in the northeast of the country amounted to about 12.6 million barrels during the same period.
The Ministry indicated that the total natural gas production amounted to about 1.6 billion cubic metres, revealing investment plans to rehabilitate and develop a number of oil and gas wells and fields to raise production capacity and meet the country’s local needs.
