Trabzonspor goalkeeper Andre Onana was involved in a traffic accident, before facing Kasimpasa, on Saturday, in the opening round of the Turkish League.
Club president Ertugul Dogan reassured the fans about the condition of the Cameroonian goalkeeper, telling “TRT SPORT”: “There is no problem, and his condition is not serious, and we wish him a speedy recovery.”
Trabzonspor had signed Onana on loan in September 2025, before extending his loan for a second season in July 2026 without an option to buy.
Onana contributed to the team winning the Turkish Cup and occupying third place in the league, while Mohamed Salah is preparing to make his first appearance with Trabzon against Qasim Pasha.
