The ministries of works and technology are discussing ways to employ artificial intelligence to update administrative work

The Ministry of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Affairs organized a workshop at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, with the participation of the Minister of Revoning and the Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Dr. Kamal Shehadeh Kamal Shehadeh and Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamani, along with the two ministerial work teams.
The workshop was devoted to reviewing the mechanisms for employing artificial intelligence and digital technology in developing administrative and technical work within the ministry. The workshop included a comprehensive presentation by a global consulting company, in which it reviewed strategic axes of work in which administrative procedures can be accelerated, simplifying the services provided to citizens, adopting smart solutions, in addition to highlighting the capabilities of artificial intelligence in improving maintenance processes Infrastructure, engineering data analysis, and promotion of public safety. For his part, Shehadeh stressed that “this workshop translates our vision to develop technology and artificial intelligence in the service of ministries and public bodies, through practical initiatives that contribute to accelerating the digital transformation. Merging artificial intelligence solutions with national digital infrastructure (NDI) will allow Lebanon to provide safer and efficient services, and pave the way to update public administration In a sustainable manner, the citizen first serves. ”In his intervention, Rasamni stressed that“ digital technology and artificial intelligence can cause a fundamental shift in how to maintain infrastructure, the management of urban expansion, and the promotion of public safety. ”He added:“ This workshop has shed light on practical steps to modernize the work of the Ministry of Works, in the interest of every citizen and resident. ” The importance of integration between the ministries, and the need to adopt an executive road map that guarantees the transfer of theoretical perceptions to a tangible reality, which reflects positively on the modernization of public administration and the development of infrastructure and services in Lebanon. Through merged these priorities within the national digital infrastructure (NDI), a strategic initiative led by the Ministry of Technology and Artificial Intelligence, the results will ensure the provision of safe and capable services and integration, in a way that can The industrial sector is a prosperity in a rapidly developed global market.
