
The Minister of Industry, Joe Issa El -Khoury, wrote, on the “X” platform: “Many villages in the south have not been bombed or attacked by their people … and the reason … These villages asked the Lebanese army to be inside to protect them … and did not allow any illegal armed group to store a weapon or to deploy rocket launchers on their lands …”.
He stressed that “whoever protects the people of the south and all of Lebanon is the army … and the army only.”
