He stressed that his program aims to bring about change in the management of global football, with a focus on enhancing good governance and ensuring equality between the member federations of the International Federation.

Ahmed Bitar is a Syrian sports coach and developer from the city of Aleppo, and holds a “Pro” professional certificate from the United States of America.

Bitar had previously announced his independent candidacy for the Syrian Arab Football Federation elections, before announcing on Thursday his intention to run in the FIFA presidency race.

Bitar works as a certified trainer lecturer in the American Football Association, and is a member of the American Football League (MLS).

He also previously held the position of development director and technical director at the American Football Club Houston, and is proposing a project to develop Syrian football with an initial value of $200 million.
