According to journalist Paul Tenorio, Salah’s move to the American League is still a difficult option, in light of the player’s desire to continue his career in Europe, in addition to the great interest shown by the Saudi League clubs in contracting with him.

The report indicated that Sporting Kansas City would be the closest destination for Salah if he decided to move to the American League during the coming period.

The Athletic reported that more than one club in the American League has expressed interest in contracting with Salah, but Sporting Kansas City is currently leading the race to include the Egyptian star.

The club is basing its optimism on completing the deal on the fact that the new majority owner of its shares is Peter Mallock, who is of Egyptian descent, which may give the club an advantage in convincing the player to study the offer.
Despite the American interest, Saudi clubs remain the most prominent competitor to include Salah, given their ability to make huge financial offers, especially from clubs such as Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad.

The sports community is awaiting the next destination for the Egyptian star, after he led his country to the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, before losing to Argentina with a score of 3-2.
