An American official revealed that the Lebanese-Israeli talks have moved to the framework implementation stage, in a step that reflects progress in efforts aimed at implementing understandings related to southern Lebanon.
The official said that work is underway to prepare maps and identify additional experimental areas in southern Lebanon, in preparation for implementing the stages of the agreed upon framework.
He added that the first experimental area from which the Israeli army will withdraw in southern Lebanon will be determined in the coming days, as part of the implementation of field arrangements.
