The two robots had previously appeared as electronic stars during the Petersburg International Economic Forum, before they were guests at the prestigious “Pushkin” Library, which was chosen by the Moscow Department of Culture to host this unique event, in a meeting that combines the legacy of classical literature with the modernity of artificial intelligence technologies.
In the halls of the “Pushkin” Library, under the supervision of the official, the two robots will exchange vows and light bracelets that mimic wedding rings, while they will be accompanied by a robotic pet, the dog “Dogmatic,” to give a closer feel to the scene.
The movements of the two robots will be accurately simulated via remote control techniques, as the operator uses virtual reality glasses to guide their steps, so that Robert moves with a mixture of kung fu skills, while Matilda appears with grace inspired by the art of ballet, in an experience that seeks to reimagine the concept of interaction between man and machine.
The event will not be limited to the exhibition aspect, as the new “robot family” will donate to the Pushkin Library a collection of books specialized in modern technologies and artificial intelligence, coinciding with the Day of Family, Love and Loyalty in Russia, in a symbolic reference to the intersection of human heritage with developments in the digital age.
