Majed Mneimneh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment Promotion Corporation in Lebanon (IDAL), met with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Muhammad Sultan Al-Sharji, in the presence of the First Secretary at the Embassy, ​​Abdullah Khaled Al-Din, to congratulate him on his appointment as Ambassador of the sisterly State of Kuwait to Lebanon, wishing him success in his new duties.

A statement by “IDAL” indicated that “the meeting discussed ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, and the role of “IDAL” in encouraging and attracting investments to Lebanon, and promoting promising investment opportunities in the productive and service sectors, and the steps it is taking in the framework of working to provide a favorable environment for investors. Mneimneh briefed Ambassador Al-Sharji on IDAL’s new vision and its plans aimed at reactivating its role as a primary body for attracting investments, facilitating the investor’s journey, and developing the services provided to him, including “In line with international best practices.”

The statement pointed out that “the Kuwaiti ambassador briefed Mneimneh on the pioneering experience of the State of Kuwait in the field of encouraging investments and developing its economic system, and on the role played by the relevant Kuwaiti authorities in attracting foreign investments and enhancing the competitiveness of the Kuwaiti economy. The meeting also constituted an opportunity to exchange experiences and benefit from successful experiences in this field.”
