Sirens sounded on Sunday morning in the Israeli areas of “Zarait” and “Shomera” adjacent to the Lebanese border, raising concerns about the possibility of a security incident in the area.
After activating the warnings, the Israeli army issued an official statement confirming that the warning sirens were the result of “false monitoring.”
In turn, the Israeli army spokesman explained that after conducting the necessary verification work, it was proven conclusively that the warnings were false, thus concluding the controversy and questions that were raised about the nature of the event on the border strip.
