The Turkish Trabzonspor club achieved a deserved victory over its Scottish guest, Hearts, with a score of (2-0), in the match that brought them together this Thursday evening at the “Babara Park” stadium in the city of Trabzon, as part of the second round of the league stage of the European Football Conference League competition for the season (2026-2027).
The Turkish team owes the credit for this victory to its Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a penalty kick, before adding an additional touch with a decisive pass that resulted in the second goal, which was scored by fellow striker Francolino in the 58th minute of the match.
With this result, Trabzonspor continued its strong start, achieving its second successive victory in the European competition, based on its previous superiority in the first round over the Finnish Kops with a score of (4-2).
On the other hand, the Scottish club Hearts suffered its first loss in the tournament, affected by its previous stumble by a goal against its guest, Danish Nordsjælland, at the opening of its continental campaign.
