Real Madrid secures Bellingham's future in a close tie until 2031

The Spanish club Real Madrid reached an agreement with English international Jude Bellingham to extend his contract until June 30, 2031, including a significant increase in the player’s salary, according to what was revealed by the “AS” newspaper.

The new agreement aims to add two additional seasons to Bellingham’s current contract, which was expiring in 2029, ensuring his continuation in the ranks of the Royal Club and confirming his position as one of the team’s most prominent future pillars.

The midfielder joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023, and was quickly able to impose himself as a decisive and influential element on the green rectangle, winning the appreciation and admiration of the fans of the “Santiago Bernabeu” stadium thanks to his dedication and distinguished levels.

Extension negotiations began late last season and witnessed a rapid consensus of visions between the two parties, supported by the player’s rapid integration and adaptation to life in the Spanish capital.

This decision reflects the great importance that Bellingham has come to represent within the club, especially in light of the departure of a number of veteran leaders such as Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Dani Carvajal, which makes him one of the names nominated to take over leadership responsibility in the next stage and the culmination of his upward journey with the team.
