Apple launched its new smart home device, “HomeView,” which is designed to represent an integrated center for smart home management by integrating the functions of several devices into one device.
The device acts as a main platform for connecting to smart speakers, TVs, and various home electronics, while providing the ability to fully control them via voice commands.
“HomeView” is equipped with a tablet-like screen, in addition to cameras, speakers, and microphones, allowing it to be used as an alternative to a phone for making video calls, listening to music, and watching movies, videos, and news broadcasts over the Internet.
Apple supported the device with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities that allow it to flexibly interact with user commands, as well as the feature of recognizing family members of up to 6 people to provide personalized content and information for each of them.
The device also provides integration with various Apple services, including Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple TV, and Apple News, in addition to support for Spatial Audio technology, and a smooth transfer feature for playback (Handoff) when the iPhone is brought close to the screen.
“HomeView” derives its power from the “Apple A18” processor – the same processor used in the “iPhone 16” phones – which ensures superior performance in processing visual and artificial intelligence data.
