Jamil Al-Sayyid launches a sharp attack on the authorities, citing the phrase: "And barley you will eat"

Lebanese MP Jamil Al-Sayyid, in a post on the “X” platform, linked the recent Israeli incursion into the western Damascus countryside to the current situation in Lebanon, criticizing the performance of the official authorities in the two countries.

Al-Sayyid pointed out that Israeli forces penetrated yesterday to the entrances to the village of Arnah in the western Damascus countryside, which is about an hour and a quarter away from the presidential palace in the Syrian capital, criticizing at the same time the Syrian leadership’s handling of developments on the ground.

Yesterday, Saturday, Syrian field reports reported that an Israeli patrol set up a temporary checkpoint on the road linking the villages of Arnah and Darbol in the western Damascus countryside, where it searched passers-by and checked the identity of vehicles, while continuing to monitor Israeli movements and incursions into the same area.

Regarding the Lebanese issue, Al-Sayyed directed sharp criticism at the official authorities, pointing to what he described as the state’s enrichment of the framework agreement in light of its helplessness in the face of Israeli violations.
