Al-Hajjar inspects the latest security technologies to keep pace with the stage of digital development

In the context of keeping pace with technological developments related to security work and enhancing communication frameworks with citizens, the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al-Hajjar, made a field visit to an interactive space dedicated to innovation and technology, which includes a group of digital projects and solutions provided by participating companies and institutions.

During the tour, Minister Al-Hajjar inspected a number of the pavilions on display, beginning with a visit to the Internal Security Forces pavilion. He reviewed the latest technologies and equipment approved in the security sector, and the modern means used to raise the level of readiness and support field missions.

Al-Hajjar also listened to a detailed presentation on the initiatives implemented by the Internal Security Forces with the aim of strengthening ties with citizens and spreading community awareness about the dangers of cybercrime, digital extortion, and the dangers of the drug scourge.

On another level, the Minister of the Interior reviewed the strategic plans developed by the Ministry to raise the level of traffic safety, highlighting the joint efforts between the Ministry of the Interior and the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces to educate citizens about the importance of adhering to traffic rules and reducing risks on the roads.

These steps fall within the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Interior and the security services to keep pace with digital transformation, develop security work mechanisms, and activate the preventive and awareness-raising role in various issues closely related to the safety of citizens and their community security.
