Tunisian boxer, Hossam Rahimi, died today after being stabbed several times with a skewed knife, following a dispute over a bottle of water in a café in Manouba Governorate (Greater Tunis Province).

This crime shook Tunisian public opinion, which demanded the harshest punishment for the pervert who killed Hossam Al-Rahimi, after the medical ambulance team was unable to save him.

The details of the incident go back to a dispute between boxer Hossam Al-Rahimi, who works as a waiter in a café in the Dandan area in Manouba Governorate, with a deviant, who entered the café and asked for a bottle of mineral water.

The dispute broke out after Hossam Al-Rahimi, the pervert, told him that there was no mineral water in the café, given the crisis that Tunisia has been experiencing recently, due to the loss of mineral water in Tunisian markets.

The dispute developed between the two parties, until the pervert took a knife from his pocket and stabbed the boxer Hossam Al-Rahimi in different areas of his body, which led to his death from his severe injuries, after the medical authorities failed to treat him.

As soon as the security authorities were notified of the incident, the security units moved to inspect the crime scene, and the public prosecutor was notified, who moved to the crime scene and examined the body and authorized its referral to forensic medicine.

The Attorney General also ordered the opening of a judicial investigation to uncover the circumstances of the incident and the true motives behind this heinous attack.
The security services in the governorate are intensifying their efforts to track down the perpetrator, who is still on the run. (Erm News)
