Egyptian star Mohamed Salah continues to write history in his new experience with Turkish Trabzonspor, after achieving a new record during his distinguished start in the Turkish League, a few weeks after he moved to the team’s ranks with a two-year contract.
The 34-year-old player scored one goal and assisted another in his team’s 5-0 victory over Genclerbirligi in the fourth round of the Turkish League.
Salah scored four goals during the first three matches he started with Trabzonspor in the Turkish League, becoming the first foreign player in the history of the competition to reach this number since the 2000-2001 season.
The Egyptian national team captain had scored three goals in his first three league matches, before adding his fourth goal against Gentslerberligi, quickly confirming his ability to adapt to his new team despite Trabzonspor’s difficult start this season.
