The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Pyramids Club, the executive management and all the club’s employees mourned Major General Hisham Zaid, Director of Matches Management at the club, who passed away today, Tuesday.
The club wrote through its account on the “X” platform: “Major General Hisham Zaid, Director of Matches Management at the Pyramids Club, has passed away. The deceased was admitted to a hospital in New Cairo during the past few days after suffering a sudden health crisis before moving to his Lord’s side. May God have mercy on the deceased and place him in his spacious paradise, and inspire his family with patience and solace. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
The club said through its media center: “Major General Hisham Zaid, Director of Match Management at the Pyramids Club, has passed away to the mercy of God Almighty.”
The Pyramids Club indicated that the deceased had been admitted to a hospital in New Cairo during the past few days, after suffering a sudden health crisis, before he passed away.
The club praised the career of Major General Hisham Zaid, stressing that he was known for his competence and sincerity in work, and he gave a lot to the Pyramids Club during his years as director of matches management.
The Pyramids Club is scheduled to face its guest, Abu Qir Fertilizers, next Thursday evening, in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League. (Russia Today)
