A large fire broke out in the town of Shahhour in the Tire district, where the fire spread widely and approached homes, amid fears that the fire would expand and reach residential areas.
In a separate incident at dawn on Sunday, a fire broke out inside a cell phone store in the Minya area, causing its entire contents to burn, without any human casualties being recorded.
The Lebanon Debate correspondent reported that the fire broke out inside the shop belonging to the citizen Muhammad Halawa, before the fire quickly expanded inside and consumed all of its contents, while the causes of its outbreak remain unknown to this day.
Immediately after the incident was reported, civil defense teams arrived at the scene and began extinguishing operations. They were able to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring shops and buildings, while the damage was limited to material items.
