Metz had left OpenAI, the developer of “GPT Chat”, in 2024 to join Mira Moratti’s company Thinking Machines, then returned to “OpenAI” earlier this year, according to a report on the “Axios” website, which “Arabia Business” viewed.
Metz will start working at Meta this week, and will report administratively to Alexander Wang, who leads the company’s efforts in artificial intelligence, which has launched a number of new models in recent months.
