Fluctuations and rain in the month of August... a warning about water currents

“Lebanon Debate”

Today, Friday, Lebanon is affected by a weak air depression accompanied by moderate temperature air masses, which leads to a significant drop in temperatures and the emergence of some weather fluctuations, with the possibility of light local rain starting in the afternoon.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather will be partly cloudy with dense fog over the highlands, while light and scattered rain will fall, especially over the northern highlands.

The southwesterly winds are sometimes active, causing sea waves to rise and water currents to form, with citizens warned of the danger of swimming during periods of strong winds.

Temperatures range between 24 and 33 degrees on the coast, between 18 and 31 degrees above the mountains, and between 19 and 37 degrees inland, while the humidity on the coast ranges between 60% and 80%.

As for Saturday, the weather remains partly cloudy with dense fog over the mountains, with no significant change in temperatures on the coast and highlands, compared to a slight rise in the interior. Scattered drizzle is likely to fall, especially over the northern highlands, with continued wind activity and sea waves rising.
