The head of the Syndicate of Gas Station Owners in Lebanon, George Prax, reassured the Lebanese of the availability of fuel in various regions, after distribution operations returned to stations following the crisis last week.
Prax said, in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “After the Bekaa and South regions were cut off from fuel last week and the forced closure of the stations, and after the Council of Ministers approved the unloading of the ships, the process of distributing millions of liters of fuel to all stations in Lebanon began on Monday.”
He added: “Today we can reassure the Lebanese that fuel is available in all regions.”
Last week, some regions, especially the Bekaa and the South, witnessed a shortage in fuel supplies, which led to the forced closure of a number of stations, before the Council of Ministers approved the unloading of the ships, after which the process of distributing quantities to stations in various Lebanese regions began.
