The “Free Patriotic Movement” issued a statement in which it criticized some of the political forces participating in the government, against the backdrop of the positions related to the approval of the general amnesty law, considering that they seek, through the media, to “cover the crime of approving the amnesty law,” by linking the position of the “current” to the position of the “Hezbollah” bloc.
The “Movement” said in its statement: “How ironic it is that some political forces participating in the government, through the media, seek to cover up the crime of approving the amnesty law, thus working to throw ashes in the eyes, lie, and link the position of the Movement to the position of the Hezbollah bloc.”
He added, “These forces that participate with Hezbollah in the government agree with it in solidarity and solidarity on quotas, appointments, and many law proposals, and this is what makes them intersect and agree with it in deed, not in word.”
He continued: “If her pain was the fact that the movement stood, as always and forever, on the side of truth and the Lebanese army, then its lies and deceit are exposed in front of all the Lebanese.”
Regarding its position on the amnesty law, the “Movement” confirmed that it had previously announced that it would vote against the law and would not withdraw from the parliamentary session, but it considered that “the dangerous precedent of preventing the Minister of Defense from speaking and expressing the opinion of the Lebanese Army will naturally push us to leave.”
He added: “The ones who should be ashamed are the liars and those who insulted the army and sold the blood of its martyrs in the political slave market.”
The Movement concluded its statement by saying: “Once again, if you are afflicted with sin, cover yourself and remain silent out of mercy for the blood of the army’s martyrs, which you were not ashamed of and you will not do so.”
