In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Health reported the death of 8 and the injury of 35 in the fire. It clarified that the security services in the Western Security Directorate received a notification of the explosion of the boilers of the Al -Bashbishi factory located in the area of ​​Al -Yamani in Al -Mahalla suddenly, so the authorities moved to the scene of the accident, and paid 8 fire engines, and more than 18 ambulances to transport the victims and the injured.
In addition, eyewitnesses reported that the fire broke out as a result of high boilers pressure in the factory, which caused its explosion and the collapse of the factory floors on the heads of workers. (Arabic)
