The Imam Musa Al -Sadr Center for Research and Studies issued a statement in which he responded to what was broadcast by BBC channel through its YouTube platform at dawn on Monday, in a documentary that touched on the issue of the disappearance of Imam Musa al -Sadr and his two companions.

The center pointed out that the documentary presented a video clip of a woman who claimed that she saw Imam al -Sadr in a hospital in the West in 2011, stressing that the family and the official committee followed up the case conducted a careful comparison that concluded that the person appearing in the video is not Imam al -Sadr, due to the clear differences in features, hair and skin color. Pointing out that broadcasting such media materials may lead to confusion in public opinion. The Center announced that the Arab BBC will host the decision of the official follow -up committee, Judge Hassan Al -Shami, on Tuesday evening to clarify all the circumstances.
