After the earthquake … an Arab country sends a search and rescue team to Afghanistan

The UAE has sent the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense and National Guard for Civil Defense, and the leadership of joint operations to support rescue efforts and support those affected by the earthquake that struck the eastern regions of Afghanistan, in implementation of the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

I also sent urgent humanitarian assistance that include basic foodstuffs, medical supplies and shelters, with the aim of providing support to the affected and wounded and mitigating the effects of the disaster on affected families.
