The Friends of the Dean of Prisoners in Israeli Prisons, Yahya Skaf, issued a statement in which it condemned the silence of the Lebanese state and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs towards the daily violations carried out by the Israeli Al -Awda in southern Lebanon, especially its creation of new monitoring centers in the Lebanese border towns with Palestine. The committee emphasized that the Lebanese official silence and the failure of the concerned institutions to be a great negligence in protecting civilians, their lands and property, especially after the Lebanese officials met with the American delegation, as it was more beneficial to inform them of the daily attacks of the Israeli enemy instead of being silent.
The committee stressed that the duty falls on the state with all its official institutions to move and confront these repeated attacks on land, sea and air, which has not stopped since the signing of the ceasefire agreement that the Lebanese side committed to. The committee considered that the continuation of these attacks in front of the world’s sights is a stigma on the Lebanese state and the government that is full of complete silence and not to take any steps to protect the land and citizens. The committee asked in its statement a clear question to the state about how it moved to liberate the Lebanese prisoners from Israeli prisons, and how to restore the Shebaa farms and the Kafr Shuba hills and the five points occupied by Al -Elada recently, confirming that Experiments have proven that the land and the prisoners cannot be released by silence or by relying on complaints to the Security Council and the international community, as they are biased towards the enemy and cover its crimes in Lebanon. The committee highlighted the need for the Lebanese state to take decisive and clear decisions to confront the crimes of the country against the homeland, and to adhere to the elements of the only available force, represented by the army, the resistance and the people, to confront the Israeli arrogance that It targets all of Lebanon from north to south. She emphasized that protecting the homeland and standing with the people of the honorable south against their right to reconstruction and return to their lands is a national and moral duty for all Lebanese, calling on the government to move and effectively to protect the land, citizens and prisoners.
