The Moroccan national team received positive news before the start of its campaign in the 2026 World Cup, after defender Noussair Mazraoui was close to regaining his full readiness to participate in the upcoming confrontation against Brazil.

The official website of Manchester United confirmed that Mazraoui returned to group training for the Moroccan national team, after a short period during which he was content to engage in special training in the gym, as a precautionary measure after the shoulder injury he suffered during the friendly match against Norway.

The English club indicated that the medical staff of the Moroccan national team closely followed the player’s condition and subjected him to careful examinations, amid positive indicators regarding his ability to be present in the awaited match against Brazil in the third group competitions at MetLife Stadium.

On the other hand, the Brazilian national team is expected to rely on the Manchester United duo, Casemiro and Matheus Cunha, in one of the most prominent matches of the first round of the tournament.

The third group also includes the teams of Haiti and Scotland, where the competition appears open and strong between the four teams to reserve the two qualification tickets to the next round.
