The Economic Attaché at the Greek Embassy, ​​Christina Argyropoulou, discussed ways to develop economic relations between Beirut and Athens, during a meeting with the Lebanese-Greek Business Council headed by Gaby Tamer at the headquarters of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber.

During the meeting, Tamer stressed the existence of promising opportunities to develop economic cooperation, considering that the historical relations and the presence of the large Lebanese diaspora in Greece represent an essential foundation for pushing the partnership forward.

For her part, Argyropoulou stressed the Greek state’s interest in developing this file, noting the embassy’s openness to coordination and working according to the available capabilities to achieve common commercial goals. The meeting included an extensive discussion between the members of the Council and the Economic Attaché about the files and opportunities available to build on them in the next stage.
